Artist Bio

Brett Scarola was born to create. Growing up in the PNW, he spent nearly all of his adolescent years outside, immersed in nature - only to return home once he heard his mother ring the dinner bell at night. His family didn't have a TV to drown out their sense of place and time... they existed together in the moment. After dinner every night they would do something creative like draw or paint with their Dad. Brett rightfully attributes his incredible sensibility to light and color, to his rare and special childhood. He bought his first DSLR as an adult when living in Texas which spawned a career as a successful traveling photographer and he's never looked back. His pieces are absolute gems whose light glimmers throughout his work in stunning fashion.
